Community Baptist Church

Pastor Carson was born and raised in a Christian family in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Upon receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior he was called into the ministry. Pastor Carson has served the Lord in many capacities over the years. Prior to being called into the pastorate he served the Lord as an evangelist in the Northeastern United States for a short while.

In 1996 God inroduced Pastor Carson to a remnant of a church located in the Roxborough-Manayunk section of inner city Philadelphia, where he pastored Inheritance Baptist Church. God placed His hand upon that work and through it called Pastor Carson to begin a ministry of revitalizing churches that are on the brink of closing. 'Yesteryears Ministry' was born out of that work; a ministry that takes churches about to close there doors and rebuilds them both physically, in number, adn spiritually for the glory of the Lord.

Having completed just such work and turning it over too the man God had for them, Pastor Jim Perrette, the Lord called Pastor Carson to the Cascade - Grand Rapids area. And here it is that God has called Pastor Carson to Start Community Baptist Church.

Pastor Carson and Debbie, his wife of 33 years, have a love for people a desire to serve God, and a burden to see the lost and dying saved unto eternal life. Pastor and Debbie want to serve God in the community, and make Community Baptist Chruch a place to call HOME.
